surveillance images for their own purposes.

When I was on the flight from HK to Chongqing, I was really bored and
had nothing else to do since it was only afternoon and I wasn’t sleepy
at all. I grabbed Newsweek to kill some time. Surprisingly, it was quite
interesting so I kept reading. After reading the interview with Palin, the
funniest article I found was this one, about close circuit TV in Britain.
Britain, somewhat proudly, has been crowned the most watched society
in the world. The country boasts 4.2 million security cameras (one for
every 14 people), a number expected to double in the next decade. A
typical Londoner makes an estimated 300 closed-circuit television
(CCTV) appearances a day
Funny thing is those cameras don’t really do much prevention about
crimes. If I wanna go rub someone I wouldn’t care if there’s a camera
shooting cos I would wear stockings as mask. Well, I have to say that I
never really like any CCTV cos I feel my privacy is invaded. No matter
how hard they are trying to protect me.
Again British humor amazes me. Some artists have been using those
CCTV images in their films. Some even finish the entire film with only
CCTV images. I must say this is brilliant and could save them tons of
$$ on the expensive films and equipments. One of my dear bro is
studying Film Making in CA and I hope his mom will never hear about
this or she would be very pissed with all the $$ she has to pay for her
son’s films.

看完PALIN的專訪之後 看到這篇讓我偷笑到不行的
英國 自豪的 拿下世界上最受監視保護的社區冠軍
全國有四百二十萬台攝影機（每14人一台） 預計十年後此數字將倍增
一位倫敦人預估一天會在300個閉路電視CCTV鏡頭上出現
而可笑的是 這些鏡頭並不能真正有效的遏止犯罪
說真的 如果我哪天淪落到要去搶劫+作奸犯科 不想被人看到臉的最快速有效的方法
就是學如花把褲襪套在頭上 千萬不要學金凱瑞搞個超大頭套 逃命都逃不快
所以我向來討厭那些攝影機 那明明是侵犯我的隱私 害我每次看到就想套絲襪
不過 英國人的幽默又再次的取悅了我 一封信 十元英鎊
或者是去買個什麼便宜的儀器 任何地點的任何影像都能輕易入手
有些人就拿這些影片加到他們的電影裡 自然的演出 不經意不做作沒有台詞只有表情
我想千萬不要讓X媽知道這件事 如果他知道世界上有人可以不花太多錢拍電影
他一定很難面對+接受X弟每學期的學雜+拍片花費
